Akshay is a first-year PhD student in the lab. He got his Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka, and his MSc in Neural Information Processing from the Graduate Training Center for Neuroscience in Tuebingen. During his PhD, he plans to understand environments that lead to the development of psychiatric disorders using the deep meta-RL framework and find a computational cure for the same.
